150 x 22ah Diamond Peripheral Wheel for 6 Millimeter with Groove, Pencil Edge

This wheel is designed for use on the following machines:

Peripheral wheels utilize their peripheral surface to polish edge profiles.  Diamond wheels produce the shape of the edge profile of the glass.  The peripheral type composition polishing wheel quickly assumes the diamond generated shape to adequately polish the edge.  Polishing wheels can be pre-profiled with a hand-held diamond tool to reduce break-in time.

Peripheral wheels are primarily used for producing pencil and ogee shapes as well as flat edges.  Due to the orientation of the diamond wheel to the glass edge, peripheral wheels will wear in a non-uniform manner.  With proper maintenance and wheel selection, the severity of this wear can be minimized.
