Lensmax "A" Cerium Oxide Compound (20 Kilogram Pail)

Lensmax "A" is a cerium oxide compound especially designed for polishing glass lenses in the Rx Ophthalmic lab.  It exhibits high-performance and yet is competitively prices.  This product is widely used in central slurry systems where a fast efficient polish is desired.

The abundant metallic elements of atomic number 57 through 71 (Lanthanide series) are known as rare earths, so called because they were originally thought to be rare.  Cerium Oxide (atomic number 58) is the most abundant of the rare earth compounds. In a water slurry it is the best polishing agent for glass as regards to the rate of removal and ultimate surface finish.
